Meet Rubus, our limited release gin featuring Tayberries grown in the Fleurieu region of South Australia.
We take Tayberries (Rubus fructicosus x R. idaeus), a cross between a raspberry and a blackberry, and macerate them in our Original Australian Gin before pressing to create a boldly aromatic and fruity dry style gin. For us, it sits firmly in the goldilocks zone of being neither too sweet or tart, but just right.
A unique and vivid reddish-purple in colour, Rubus pours boldly pink and is more than ready for sipping straight on ice or for tackling your favourite tonic or soda. Either way, it’s a party just waiting to happen in your glass!

Recipes Featuring Rubus - Tayberry Gin
Rubus Cosmo
Ingredients
➤ 50 ml of Rubus (Tayberry) Gin
➤ 25 ml of Cranberry juice
➤ 15 ml of Fresh lime juice
➤ 10 ml of Orange liqueur, such as Cointreau or Triple Sec
➤ Ice cubes
Method
1. Mix the Cocktail: Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the gin, cranberry juice, lime juice and orange liqueur. Shake well until chilled.
2. Pour and Top: Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass and garnish with lime. Top up with a splash of tonic water if desired.
